In this edition of Ardaaga Hal-abuurka, HarHub is pleased to host Abdirisak Ahmed, CEO & Co-Founder of Taam Solutions, Amaani Express, and Malika Home Appliances. Through his entrepreneurial journey, Abdirisak has built and scaled ventures that address real market needs while creating lasting value for customers and communities.

The dialogue will cover key aspects of early-stage business development, including starting with limited resources, product creation, identifying market demand, and overcoming operational challenges. It aims to provide students and aspiring entrepreneurs with a realistic understanding of what it takes to move from concept to execution.

As traditional funding opportunities continue to decline, the session reinforces the importance of self-driven entrepreneurship and building businesses rooted in local opportunities.

Academia and Entrepreneurship in Somaliland is a special edition of Ardaaga Hal-Abuurka designed to engage Business Administration students and fresh graduates in a practical conversation about entrepreneurship, innovation, and enterprise creation. The event aims to reshape how students think about their careers by highlighting entrepreneurship as a viable and necessary option.

Habeenka Hablaha Hargeisa (HHH 2026) is a vibrant cultural and social night celebrating women’s creativity, confidence, and community in Hargeisa. The event features live music, Buraanbur and Dhaanto performances, a red carpet experience, networking opportunities, and light snacks in a welcoming atmosphere.

The guest speaker, Abdimajid Mohamed, a Full-Stack Developer and AI Engineer with over three years of experience, shared practical insights on how AI tools can improve efficiency, automate tasks, and enhance customer engagement.

The session led by Peter Nolon offered an immersive experience in storytelling and filmmaking, with photos capturing the creativity and energy of the event.

Participants, including young innovators, journalists, content creators, and community enthusiasts, explored new techniques for crafting compelling stories and producing visually engaging films.

The Cryptocurrency Forum, hosted by HarHub, focused on the growing impact of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technologies on the future of global digital finance.

The session featured Mukhtar Hakaale, a technology expert who provided an in-depth explanation of how Cryptocurrency and Blockchain are transforming financial systems worldwide. He highlighted emerging trends, opportunities, and the importance of understanding these innovations in today’s digital economy.

On 27th February 2025, another event under Ardaaga Hal-abuurka was held by HarHub, bringing together young innovators for an inspiring and insightful session.

The guest speaker, Suleiman Ali Ahmed, Founder and CEO of Ecoplastic, shared practical guidance on how youth could develop innovative business ideas and secure funding to turn them into reality. He also reflected on his own entrepreneurial journey, outlining the process behind building his company and the lessons he learned along the way.
