BIC Somali-Business Incubators Program
The main purpose of the project is to create and improve economic opportunities and jobs for young women and men through the delivery of locally available technology based and innovation-led business incubation services.
Green Project – Smart Climate Farming
The Smart Climate Farming Project is a youth-focused green livelihoods initiative implemented for the second consecutive year to promote employment opportunities while addressing climate change challenges through climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable agribusiness development. The project is implemented in collaboration with SOS Somaliland and IBS Bank, supporting youth to build environmentally responsible and economically viable agricultural enterprises.
Leave No Youth Behind (LNYB) – Youth Empowerment through Entrepreneurship & Digital Skills
The Leave No Youth Behind (LNYB) program supports youth transitioning out of care to become resilient, self-reliant, and economically active. Implemented in Hargeisa and Burao with support from LNYB Danida, the program integrates entrepreneurship training, core life skills development, and digital skills training to strengthen employability and sustainable income generation.
SIDA III – Entrepreneurship & SME Training Program
The SIDA III – Entrepreneurship and SME Training Program is part of the broader SIDA III multi-sectoral resilience initiative, designed to strengthen youth-led livelihoods and enhance the resilience of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Somaliland and Puntland. Implemented by HarHub and Shaqodoon under the SOMREP framework, the program promotes inclusive economic participation, income diversification, and sustainable enterprise growth, with a strong focus on youth, women, and marginalized groups.
Social Innovation Challenge
Harhub, in collaboration with Oxfam, has initiated a dynamic Social Innovation Challenge aimed at addressing the most urgent social issues.
Socio- Economic Empowerment Youth in Somaliland
The Socio-Economic Empowerment Youth in Somaliland programs include boot camps, mentorship, life skills training, financial and digital literacy, youth networking events, and support for youth-led organizations.
The Next Economy-Netherlands
The Next Economy Program empowered young individuals in Nigeria, Mali, and Somalia and Somaliland helping them unlock their potential, boost their confidence, and strengthen their skills to start successful careers and entrepreneurial ventures.
HarHub Accelerator Program
HarHub Accelerator Program, a collaborative innovation program between HarHub, Shaqodoon ORG, and Oxfam, represents a pioneering initiative aimed at igniting the entrepreneurial spirit and fostering the growth of startups within Somaliland.
